Corrosion Database

This database contains information on the corrosion speed of various metals coming into contact with various products. The database contains information from various sources. It uses Start-Operational Life.

Corrosion speed depends on:

• Product composition

• Phase (aggregate) state

• Steel grade

• Product temperature

Start-Service life selects an element from the database by searching the "composition" and "detailed composition" field for a keyword (or part of a keyword) input in the "product" field. For example, "water" will bring up "water", "water vapor", etc.
