Pipe wall thickness check for above-ground segments is done for internal pressure.

For buried segments, thickness is checked for external pressure and surrounding soil pressure based on PUR insulation analysis methods, checking stability and safety.

If "pressure" is selected, allowable pressure can be calculated by setting nominal wall thickness. If "wall thickness" is selected, minimum allowable wall thickness can be calculated by setting the pressure.
