An axial expansion joint with a special structure, which is used only once. It allows cold springing of buried pipelines. After the one-time use expansion joint is installed and piping heated to the half of operation temperature, the edges of the compensator is welded.
To use the single use compensator, please switch the "Spec. Analyze" flag in the operation mode editor
Single Use Compensator properties are the same as Axial expansion joint. All expansion joint properties can be taken from expansion joints database by pressing the "..." button and selecting the appropriate expansion joint.
To insert a ballasting weight, select the desired node and use the menu option: Insert > Expansion Joint > Axial Single Use Compensator
