Piping Integrity and Closed Circuits

Piping Integrity Check

When 3D view is opened or when piping structure is changed, its integrity is checked. A piping is considered connected if there is a way to connect any two of its nodes. 3D view is configured to display only connected pipelines.

If the structure contains a disconnected element, results cannot be specifiedit may be displayed at any point in the structure or not displayed at all. To fix this, switch to the "element list" window and add the missing connections.

See also "working with disconnected pipelines".

Delete Elements

If an intermediate element is deleted, the structure is split into two disconnected fragments, which is not permitted. In this case, the end nodes of the two fragment will be connected into one node with the input number.

Circuit Closure Check

Any closed circuit is checked for closure of all its polygons. If a polygon is not closed, the last input node is split into two, one of which is shown with a different color and larger font.

Creating Closed Circuits

To connect an element with an already existing node (create a closed circuit), the existing start or end node number with which the element should be connected must be indicated when creating the element.

Selecting the Node Numbering Step

To select node numbering step, just check the checkbox and enter step
